The issue of professional competences of activation workers in homes for the elderly

The submitted dissertation deals with the issue of activation of seniors, or by analyzing and identifying the competences of activation workers of homes for the elderly. The goal of the work is to define the framework of educational and qualification requirements for an activation worker in homes for the elderly, when this worker is a fundamental employee influencing the sense of security, social involvement and quality of life of the elderly. The research was carried out in the form of qualitative research, based on grounded theory, using structured interviews with activation workers and senior staff of homes for the elderly in the Ústí Region. The topic of activation of seniors is current and socially significant, therefore it is necessary to pay professional attention to workers implementing activation programs and activities. Educational sciences, especially andragogy and gerontagogy, can be included among the key theoretical starting points. Furthermore, the demographic and socio-economic connections of old age and stiffness, the issue of modeling competence profiles and the identification of educational needs of activation workers of homes for the elderly. Competences of a soft skills trainer working in the private sector

This diploma thesis deals with the competence model of a soft skills trainer working in the private sector. It looks into the specifics of adult education with emphasis on the presentation of barriers when educating adults. Furthermore, this work discusses adult education specifics while focusing on the differences from the education of children and youth. This diploma work focuses on a trainer's personality requirements, his competences, and it presents expectations related to the trainer. A soft skills trainer's competence model is drawn up on the basis of theory presented and research carried out. The research focuses on three groups of participants to educational process - representatives of an educational organization as a trainer's employer, ordering party of an educational event as a trainer's customer and trainers themselves.

The main research of my diploma is the competence of social workers and personal care attendants. In this work I focus on the definition of terms of social work competence and adaptation of the Australian competency model for the conditions of social services in the Czech Republic. I also focus on the design of the change process and its implementation - the application of competence model to the organization of social services for retired people. The design of the competency model is compiled of the non-profit organization ŽIVOT 90 which focuses on helping seniors. It can be used to select staff, set up or improve the adaptation process of new employees, evaluate and develop existing employees in the team, and for possible career changes. Applying the Competence Model in the Public Business Academy

The thesis deals with the use of competences and competency model as an effective tool of personnel management of the organization. Competency - based / HR / Management (CBM) is an actively used model primarily in the commercial sphere. However, in recent years, more and more government organizations have also approached this governance model. The theoretical and empirical part of the thesis deals with the issue of acquiring and using various types of competencies, compiling a competency model and their subsequent application in personnel management. The definition of basic terms and principles of competency management is based on the study of professional literature and binding documents that link the principles of competence management to the lifelong learning strategy and learning organization models. The empirical part first deals with the actual use of competencies and competency models in the conditions of public business academies in Prague and Central Bohemia. It describes the current state of use of human resources management by competency of the director of public business academies in the region. The theme of this thesis is to design a managing system of a particular group of financial advisors through managing a development of competences. In this work, you will learn about financial advisory field, the broker group and the specific business team, for which the proposal was created. To be successful as a financial advisor, an associate needs to master variety of competences. The ability to manage the work results is especially connected with manager's skills to control the team members' capability of achieving the targeted results and therefore his ability of controlling their competence levels. The suggested competence model is created for needs of the particular business team and is based on objective methods. The model is further used as a management tool. This is allowed by adding a rule of use and an evaluation system. The design of the system implementation contains a recommendation for introduction into the firm and a financial evaluation of the implementation investments.
Educational needs of teachers in leisure education

The theme of the thesis is to identify the educational needs of teachers in leisure education. The theoretical part is focused on the identification and analysis of educational needs. It also focuses on staff training, their competencies and the use of competency approach to their education. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on after-school education and the teachers' activities. The aim of the research is to identify the educational needs of these teachers and the specification of their competencies. The research section includes a survey carried out by the technique of unstructured written interviews. According to the analysis of the obtained information the competencies of teachers are specified and the competency model is created. The competency model can be used for the selection, evaluation and remuneration and other training of the teachers in after-school education. Identifying educational needs of teachers offers them themes and ideas for their professional training.
